Washington, D.C. –  Today, U.S. Representative Mike Coffman (R-CO) was recognized by The Lugar Center and Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, as one of the most bipartisan lawmakers in Congress. The bipartisan index, placed Coffman 12th among all 435 Members of Congress from both sides of the aisle.

“I am honored to be recognized as one of the most bipartisan lawmakers in Congress. Finding bipartisan solutions not only makes sense but clearly is the most effective way to make public policy. Representing one of the most diverse congressional districts in the country has shown me that when all voices are heard, the results are always better” said Coffman.

Coffman is a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus, a group of 46 Member of Congress— 23 Republicans and 23 Democrats, that have worked tirelessly to bridge the partisan divide in Washington, D.C. by finding bipartisan solutions to some of the country’s most pressing issues such as public safety, immigration reform, and healthcare reform.
