Today, U.S. Representative Mike Coffman (R-Aurora) made the following statement after the release of VA’s internal audit of scheduling practices at VHA facilities nationwide:

"This is unacceptable and it will take a lot of work to change a culture of bureaucratic incompetence and corruption that is ingrained in the VA. I looked forward to finding a bipartisan solution to make sure that we honor our obligations to our nation's veterans to get them the health care benefits that they have earned," said Coffman, a Marine Corps combat veteran who sits on the House Veterans Affairs Committee.
