U.S. Representative Mike Coffman (CO-06) today issued the following statement on the passage of H.R. 2646, the Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act:

“Today I voted for legislation to help an estimated 11 million Americans who suffer from severe mental health disorders by reforming an outdated mental healthcare system that has made their struggles that much worse. The passage of this legislation is a new dawn for individuals and families suffering from the very real challenges of mental health illness.”
